Privacy Policy

Laundry Goblin is designed to help you keep track of laundry without asking you to create an account or send your household routine to us. This policy explains how the Laundry Goblin iOS app and this website handle information.
1. Information in the app
The app stores the information you enter—such as load names, cycle stages and timer timestamps—along with completed-load records and app preferences (for example, language, appearance, goblin variant, and feedback settings) in a local database on your device.
We do not operate an account system, remote database, or app server for this information. We do not receive or have access to your laundry records through the app. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking.
Your device’s operating system and Apple may process information under their own privacy policies and settings. This policy does not cover Apple’s services.
2. Notifications and device features
If you enable notifications, the app may request permission to schedule local reminders for cycle completion. The reminders are scheduled on your device; Laundry Goblin does not send them through a Laundry Goblin server. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Optional in-app alarm audio and haptic feedback are generated on your device. The app does not need access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or other unrelated personal data for its laundry-timer features.
3. This website
This website is a static information site. It does not provide account registration, a contact form, advertising, analytics, or embedded social-media trackers. The site does not intentionally set tracking cookies.
The website’s hosting provider may process standard technical request information—such as IP address, request time, browser details, and requested page—in server logs for delivery, security, and reliability. The provider and its retention practices depend on the hosting service used to publish the site; consult that provider’s policy for details.
4. Sharing, sale, and retention
We do not sell, rent, or share app data because the app’s laundry records remain on your device and are not sent to us. We do not use app data for targeted advertising.
App records remain on your device until you remove them in the app, clear them using an available app function, or remove the app and its local data through iOS. Device backups may be governed by your Apple account and backup settings.
If the app is distributed as a paid download, Apple handles the purchase and payment process. We do not receive your payment-card details through Laundry Goblin.
5. Your choices
You can choose whether to enable local notifications and can manage them in iOS Settings. You can edit or remove load information in the app, change local preferences, or uninstall the app. Because we do not receive app records, we cannot retrieve, edit, or delete those records on your behalf.
Privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on where you live. Those rights do not change the local-only design described above.
6. Children’s privacy
Laundry Goblin is a general-purpose utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not ask users to submit personal information to us.
7. Changes and questions
We may update this policy as the app or website changes. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published. Please review the current policy periodically.
